M30 OXY speaks to aspects of the Appalachian opioid crisis missed by Hollywood over the last twenty years. M30 OXY goes into the gritty detail of the fraud, violence and manipulation involved in the use and distribution of opioids, as well as the consequences for the choices made by people in the region.

 

M30 OXY is a story that follows a series of individuals in a rural kentucky county during the peak of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Their struggles with each other, internally and what they do to survive. 

 

There’s an exploration of what can make good people do bad things if pushed too far, the desire to simply live a good life - is sometimes met with massive challenges and other times will always be - just out of reach. People sometimes give up and other times don’t make it out alive - while others do what is necessary to move forward regardless of what it takes.

 

Young adult angst, Marriage struggles, Family Deception, Twisted Business, and Cold Blooded Murder are elements that will be played to in M30 OXY.
